Hello gentle readers, you know who it is already, for our new readers welcome to the PopRadarNg and i am your author Blackmamba.

I write this article with a heavy heart, I nearly lost it last week in the football space aarrhh!!!!!.

On today’s episode, we bring you the saga of the Treble to Terrible team" in the English Premier League.

Since the beginning of the season up until this point I’ve never felt this sad frfr.

I haven’t had much expectations from Arne Slot since its his first season at Liverpool FC but we can all say he’s done a really great job managing the team. But in recent times its like he’s lost every tactical acumen he had at the beginning of the season.

Did he really run out of gas?

Who knows ; or is he a fraud?

I don’t want to believe that looking at his recent spell at Feynoord and Liverpool.

Roars of victory from Dan Burn….The man, The myth.

Howe's heroes march into history.

The final whistle at Wembley was greeted with an outpouring of joy by Newcastle fans, as their side sealed a win that means a trophy finally goes back to Tyneside after a 56-year wait.

The Toon Army were sent into ecstasy as goals either side of half-time by Dan Burn and Alexander Isak put them on course for a triumph that will lead to legendary status on Tyneside for manager Eddie Howe and his players. Burn celebrated his first England call-up by meeting Kieran Trippier's corner with a towering header in first-half stoppage time what a way to take a break, before Isak pounced to finish clinically from Jacob Murphy's knockdown after 52 minutes.

Lacklustre Liverpool fall short again.

Liverpool's season still looks certain to end with them as Premier League champions - but their hopes of adding further trophies were dashed this week.

Their Champions League campaign ended against PSG, who deserved to go through to a quarter-final against Aston Villa, and the Reds can have no complaints after they were beaten by a superior Newcastle side in a far more convincing manner than the narrow scoreline suggests.

Liverpool looked tired, sloppy and timid on Sunday, and even the late hope given to them by Chiesa's goal never looked likely to be the catalyst for a comeback.

Mohamed Salah was kept quiet by Tino Livramento that small lad hen Salah had cooked the likes of Alonso, Cucurella, Kerkez etc, while the defending for Burn's opening goal bordered on the farcical - the giant defender was effectively left unattended from Trippier's corner, with the diminutive Alexis Mac Allister the closest in attendance.

Liverpool's midfield looked leggy and laboured, over-powered by Newcastle's, while they were punished for more slack marking by Isak's deadly finish for the second.

Slot's side have started to look like they are running on empty and he will hope the international break might allow them to regroup and provide fresh acumen for what should be a procession towards a record-equalling 20th title.

Liverpool's season has been outstanding - but this cup final loss completes a very bad week.

Liverpool's recent struggles can be attributed to several factors:

1. Defensive vulnerabilities: Injuries and inconsistent performances in the backline have left gaps that opponents are exploiting. It’s a point but I won’t put all the pressure on the defensive department.

2. Midfield inconsistencies: The midfield has struggled to maintain control and provide the necessary and needed support for both defense and attack. The lack of creative depth in the middle. Its obvious that Dom and Gravenbach are gassed out and need some rest but they keep on playing game after game it makes no sense coming from a Dutchman that’s heavy on rotation. There’s Endo whom has been outstanding as a backup this season, Elliot has had some minor setbacks but has come to prove himself worthy of quality playing time. I’d urge the coach to look inside and find a solution.

3. Attacking inefficiencies: Key players in the attack have been out of form, leading to fewer goals and missed opportunities. A big chunk of that would go to the CF’(center foward)’s as they have failed to keep up to their tasks and convert their chances. Nunez has a good work rate but shitty finishing, while Jota is dealing with “midlife crisis” and can’t put up a convincing performance. Its really a deplorable team state at the moment. Salah has not been Salaing and a setback from Cody sees the attacking depth insufficient enough to carry the team. There’s been an outstanding performance from Chiesa which is obvious but the coach is turning his back on him and there’s so much potential there.

4. Fatigue and squad depth: A demanding schedule and limited squad rotation have taken a toll on player fitness and performance. Given that they played most comps its bound to happen.

These challenges have combined to impact Liverpool's overall form. Do you think they can bounce back soon? I am hopeful and certain all the LFC fans are too I guess.

That’s all for this article my friends. Hope it was worth your time. CIAO!!!
